Grand Summit News - September, 2007

The Grand Summit Hotel is in the process of completing a multi-million dollar renovation of the historic property. Designer Hanna Ziolkowski from Chicago, in collaboration with the management of the property, are working together to enhance the experience the guests of the property have come to expect.

We completely renovated the lobby and public space on our main level with new carpet, tiling, wall coverings, and furniture. The relaxing library area is a welcomed addition to our newly renovated lobby as well as a 50 inch Bang & Olufsen Plasma TV.

Our Summit Club Rooms currently under renovation feature hardwood floors, completely renovated bathrooms with Tumble Stone Showers and Sorrel countertops, Sealy Pillowtop Posturepedic Mattresses with 300-thread count linens, Granite-topped dressers, 32in Flat-Screen LCD televisions by LG, and Bose Wave Radio/ CD Sound Systems.

Fitness Center Renovation…

The Fitness Center located on the lower-level of the hotel has been completely renovated with the addition of all new equipment, free weights, and an LCD Flat-Screen Television.  In addition to the fitness center offered on property, the hotel maintains a relationship with the Summit YMCA to offer guests complimentary use of the facility while staying at the property.
